Lace, a new personal illustration! This was one of those times I just got an image stuck in my head and had to see it through. Sort of a compulsive exercise in how many little leaves I can draw. I was inspired by a photo I saw on tumblr of some detailed & delicate vintage lace wedding gowns.
(I do not own that last photo! It was just my inspiration!)

She comes down the steps of the meeting hall soaked from eyes to chin in tears. Wearing a pretty green skirt below a faded yellow cotton v-neck, her face is pale, waxen, her glimmering green eyes glassy with wetness, bulging wide-eyed in pits of flushed reddish purple sockets underneath the moderate shadow of an overhanging dark red curtain of tightly snipped bangs. I gain two or three steps of the stairs when she meets me, and she wraps her arms around my shoulders. I hold her outside the hall as the fading sunlight around us is turning from orange to bruise blue. I don’t want to ask her what’s happened, but I think I should, although it seems an unnecessary thing; she’ll tell me in her own time, and anyway I can guess, in a roundabout way. The news isn’t good, one could very aptly say. Behind her, from within the open door of the meeting hall, I can hear stressed, frenetic voices emanating. Some of the voices are wracked with fits of weeping too. The news is not good, but she’ll tell me in her own time. I’ve only just come back from our house; nobody can see me but her, and so, she can stand here with me, and we have all the time in the world because nobody can see her either. I take her hand and we leave the street, venturing back to the courtyards of Emmery Cemetery where we were buried as brother and sister together.

DIY Inspiration: Make a Tee Bigger by Adding Lace Panels. Alternate Title: Why I hate Pinterest today. I received a message asking me to post more tee tutorials/ideas on how to make tees bigger and found this image all over the internet as a DIY with no source. It turns out it’s a $75 Broken Promises Tank here. If you can sew this is such an easy DIY.
Where did I end up finding this after about 15 minutes looking through page after page of images? www.thehunt.com/ I love this site. You can see something in a photo and ask a community of people if they know where to find it or something like it.
